Tuesday, March 9 – 7 p.m. - Grove United Methodist Church – Sisters in Crime. The mission of Sisters in Crime is to promote the professional development and advancement of women crime writers to achieve equality in the industry. Speaker is Judith Skillings.
Tuesday, April, 13 – 7 p.m. - Grove United Methodist Church . Research in Genetics (Tentative
). This topic is of great interest and one that will fascinate everyone.Tuesday, May 11 – 6 p.m. - End of Year Celebration" –. The Heritage of Women’s Art in Egypt. Speaker is AAUW member Virginia da Costa who is currently studying in Egypt. Final details and restaurant location will be sent via the newsletter and by e-mail.

Tuesday, September 8 – 6:30 p.m. – Villa Maria Academy High School, 370 Central Avenue (same as 370 Old Lincoln Highway), Malvern, PA 19355 – Potluck Supper followed by Get Acquainted activities. Members to bring food – details and travel directions to follow in newsletter and e-mail.
Tuesday, October 13– 7 p.m. - Grove Methodist Church, 490 W. Boot Road, West Chester, PA – Our 50th Anniversary. Celebrating the 50th year of AAUW West Chester-Chester County Branch.
SPECIAL ATTRACTION--West Chester Stroll, Thursday, November 5. Meet at 10:30 am at the Chester County Historical Society, 200 block of High St., West Chester, for a guided tour of West Chester and a look at Layers 2, the quilt show at the Society. Saturday, December 12, 7 to 10 p.m. – Home of a member, Frazer, PA. Holiday Gathering, Come join us with your spouse or friend for wine, hors d’oeuvres and holiday desserts! For ease of traveling we will organize carpools. Final details will be communicated to you through your newsletter and by e-mail.
Tuesday, January 12 – 7 p.m. - Grove United Methodist Church – Islamic Perceptions of Other Faiths and Implications. Speaker – Mr. Iftekhar Hussain, a practicing Muslim and frequent lecturer on related topics, will provide a high-level overview of Islamic views of persons of other faiths and the implications of this theology in politics and everyday live. A Q&A period will follow. Pre-meeting reading will be suggested. Guests are invited.
